Hello, my name is Bastien Labelle.

I'm a developer: when Chuck Norris needs a developer, he calls me.

Curious? Read more about me, read my blog or .

I'm one of the awesome developers behind Hellocoton.fr, a hot French startup dedicated to women. I also run pico-projects such as MyCleenr, Water Falcon or Bllsht.

I'm a web & social media addict. I share cool & random stuff on , Path, Tumblr, and Google+. I also pin content on Delicious or Digg, and you can find some of my slideshows on Slideshare. I network on and Linked In. I'm a world traveler, and you can track where I go on Foursquare and Dopplr. You can find pictures of places I visit on Flickr. I care a lot about aesthetics, which is why you can find me on Dribbble, Ffffound!, or Forrst.

This list is not exhaustive, and if you need to add me on yet another social network, you can track almost every webapp I use via a quick Google search.

I'm a twenty-something year old French guy who graduated from Université Toulouse 1 with a Master degree in Information Systems. I currently live in Toulouse (aka The Pink City), South of France, and I wish someday I'll work in NYC.

I have front-end skills in (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript (I know jQuery, MooTools, YUI & ExtJS). The language I know the best is PHP. I've been working with Jelix, and tested others frameworks like Symfony. I'm also a Python lover, which is the language I chose for most of my pico projects. I developed with Tornado, Web.py, Django or AppEngine. I'm pretty good at designing data. I work with classical RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, or MS Access (WTF!?). More recently, I started working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, CouchDB and Redis. I use SVN on a daily basis for version control, but I'm a huge fan of Git (you can find some sample code on GitHub). Also, I might be a PHP/Python specialist, but I have notions in Java Servlets/JSPs, C, C++, C#, VB.NET and Ruby (including Ruby On Rails).

I'm an Apple addict, I ♥ everything Apple. I own a Macbook Pro Unibody, a black iPhone 4, and an iPad.

And by the way, this website is standard compliant, which means it's XHTML valid, CSS valid, and (super bonus) XFN & hCard friendly! And it is also used as an OpenID proxy.
