During my recent trip to Iceland, we noticed that Icelanders are very creative people. Katie, one of our fellow travellers, made me discover this local indie band called 1860.
Today, I’d like to share their song “Alunde (Aluia)”.
I couldn’t tell if this song is their best, but the story behind it is quite fantastic. The song was actually recorded in a Toyota Yaris with an iPhone 3GS in one take. Yes, in one single take. And it went straight to the album. How cool is that?
